Sargent Hilbert Caesar had lost his right leg above the knee in 2004 when his vehicle hit a roadside bomb while serving in Iraq.
As part of Rowan University’s Junior Engineering Clinic, I was part of a team that designed and fabricated a custom adapted bicycle for Sargent Hilbert Caesar. This project enabled him to ride comfortably and safely again. An activity that he used to do avidly prior to his accident.
